A total of 17,066 applications were submitted, with 1,610 fellowships awarded. This represents a success rate of approximately 9.6%, reflecting the highly selective nature of the scheme.
The United Kingdom secured 347 fellowships, the highest number of any participating country. This strong performance demonstrates the quality and international competitiveness of UK research institutions in attracting and supporting outstanding postdoctoral researchers.
