The European Commission has announced the results of the 2026 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) COFUND call, committing €105.5 million to support 29 high-quality researcher training programmes across Europe. The funding will support 15 doctoral training programmes and 14 postdoctoral fellowship programmes, helping organisations attract international talent and provide excellent research training and career development opportunities.
The selected programmes span a wide range of disciplines, including life sciences, quantum physics, sustainable energy, environmental research and space science. Together, they involve more than 400 organisations across 38 countries and will offer opportunities for hundreds of researchers to develop their skills through international, interdisciplinary and intersectoral collaboration.
COFUND enables organisations to establish or enhance their own doctoral and postdoctoral programmes while embedding MSCA best practice in researcher training, supervision, career development and working conditions.
