Bring your enthusiasm and adaptability to shape the future of knowledge at CERN! Take part!

CERN’s mission is the advancement of knowledge, and the Archives & Library are the key hub for managing access to the knowledge needed to fulfil the mission of the Laboratory and to preserve it for future generations. The physical and fast-growing online archives & library both contribute to this endeavor.

The CERN Scientific Information Service operates, among other sections, the CERN Archives & Library. The first takes care of preserving and making accessible the Organization’s memory. The second ensures access to the scientific documents researchers need to carry out their activities by managing a library and a bookshop and their associated services. The mission of the CERN Scientific Information Service is to efficiently manage, preserve and disseminate scientific information to make it openly accessible and reusable to CERN and the worldwide high-energy physics community.
