Offer Description

We seek a post-doctoral researcher to work with Daniel Nettle to test the desperation threshold model (De Courson and Nettle 2022, Radkani et al. 2023) using online and laboratory experiments. We also interested in the application of relational models theory to human social interaction, and methods of applying this to experimental settings.The user should have experience conducting multiplayer experimental games online or in person, ideally using otree, and demonstrable knowledge of relational models theory. They should have a track record of interest in the cognitive and behavioural effects of poverty and scarcity. They should have a PhD and be prepared to work in Paris as part of the Evolution and Social Cognition team at the Institut Jean Nicod.
